my mother

My friend Clint and I made a movie for her. There were clowns in it, but not the scary kind.

There is something about your video that reminds me of trains...the harmonica? So when the car comes out, some part of me wills it into a train.

It's like your mother is a small, old-timey train. To me.

And a saint.

The Christian clowning video left me with some strong feelings.

I feel that permission to wander into nursing homes to touch the residents should not be conditional upon such elaborate and possibly expensive garb. This is the problem with the religious community. They force you to purchase their access to unrestrained touching privileges by jumping through an elaborate system of hoops designed to humiliate you and empty your pocketbooks.

Also, it is really difficult to get in and out of an adult-sized onesie in the time allotted between 15-minute room checks.

It is all such bullshit.

Thank you for bringing these issues to light in a public forum.

Your delicious gravy clown joke is still one of my all-time favorites.
